First post 5/8/12

Never did a blog before.  Brand new concept for me, but I figure that the best way to let everyone know what is going on with me while I'm on my new "adventure" is to do it in a diary style, which pretty much means I get to do a blog.  This will be a lot easier than repeating the same things over and over, then forgetting things.....you know.  So, here goes.  Right now I have just about all of my paperwork in.  I have submitted the last bit to Washington D.C. and hope to get it back by next week.  Then it will be submitted for my work visa, and I'm gone!
